***SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT ***
I am very pleased to announce that
the Fleetwood Museum in North Plainfield, New Jersey
has set up an exhibit of some of my meters. This will include a sample of most types of meters
starting with the Watkins Standard of 1893 and an
Ilford calculator of about 1890.
Contact me for information about the Museum, or call the museum directly at (908) 756-7810.
The F16 Rule
How to set you camera in sunlight without a meter.
Besides leaving messages or joining the Chat Room,
(no password necessary), you may sign in below or
send me e-mail ...Thanks!!!
What is you interest? It would be nice if you would
share it with us. This way, we could learn from each
other. Perhaps we could get other serious Meter Collectors
(all five of you?) interested in exchanging information,
ideas, etc. -- that is why I have published this page.
I already know several collectors here in the USA and
in Europe -- let's hear from more of you.
I have about 1,000 Light Meters. You may have seen the
article about my collection in the June 1998 issue of
Popular Photogrphy. I use the name OnlyMeters on eBay.
I have a special interest in the Weston Line of meters (1932 to the 60's in the USA) -- I am missing only two from the entire USA line.
NOTE:
This Web page is a relatively new venture for me
(the basic page was generated by AT&T's "Site Tools") --
as I learn more, I intend to add pictures, features, etc. --
I welcome your ideas/suggestions.
Note that I have learned how to add color
(the red anouncement at the begining). I have also
added the link above with the "F16 Rule" and some clip-art.
But I still have a great deal to learn!
Let's hear from you -- sign in!
Happy Meter Hunting!
